Docs are the source of truth
Every change updates the documents it touches, in the same change. When code and docs disagree, that is a bug.
No sample data
Every screen runs on the real API and real records. The product never shows made-up numbers.
Tested end to end
Changes are checked against a real API and a real database before they are called done.
Refused in words
When something cannot be done, the product says why, naming the reason — never a bare error, never silently doing nothing.
